UNITED WAY OF OCEAN COUNTY HONORS 20 LOCAL INDIVIDUALS FOR EXAMPLARY VOLUNTEERISM AND SERVICE

On Thursday, April 24, more than 125 people came out to Hemingway’s Café in Seaside Heights in support of 20 local individuals that were honored by the United Way of Ocean County during the 2014 Young Altruistic Professional (YAP) Awards.

The fifth annual edition of the awards recognized area residents ages 18-to-39 for their outstanding work as “Full-Time Professionals, Part-Time Heroes” and their exemplary dedication to service and volunteerism in Ocean County.

The 2014 class of YAP honorees were as follows:
