Water Main Leak In Toms River Repaired, Water Company Says
Breaking: SUEZ says water service has been fully restored to the 100 customers affected.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — (UPDATED, 2:30 p.m.) Water service has been restored to the 100 customers affected by a water main leak in the Silverton section, water company officials said Wednesday afternoon.
The break occurred near the intersection of Aldo Drive and Longman Street, said Jane Kunka, spokesperson for SUEZ water. The break was reported shortly before 10 a.m., she said.
SUAZ technicians said the pipes were flushed after the repair, which could result in discolored water. Anyone who experiences discolored water should run their cold tap water for a few minutes until the water clears, Kunka said.
