• Wayne councilman to resign, plans move out of NJ with family (northjersey.com) — Totowa native Jason DeStefano plans to leave Wayne’s Township Council before November ends, moving out of state for a job opportunity. The Republican began his second four-year term in January. His replacement will serve until the next general election, when voters choose who completes the term.
   

• Torquato and Contreras called into US U20 camp for November friendlies (3rddegree.net) — Totowa goalkeeper Aidan Stokes is among three goalkeepers named to the U.S. U20 soccer team’s November training camp in Fayetteville, Georgia. The camp runs Nov. 9–17 and includes matches against Japan, Colombia and Paraguay at the Arthur M. Blank U.S. Soccer National Training Center.
