2 Winning Mega Millions Tickets Sold in Morris County

One lucky ticket in Illinois claims $260 million jackpot.

A dollar and a dream is all it takes, they say.

For two lottery players who bought tickets in Morris County recently, those dreams just got a little sweeter.

The Mega Millions jackpot of $260 million was hit by a player in Illinois Tuesday night, but that doesn’t mean there wasn’t any leftover for other players.

Two $5,000 third prizes, where the ticket matches four numbers and the mega ball, were sold in Morris County as well.

Their locations Lakeside Bagels Deli & Pizza on Boonton Avenue in Kinnelon, and Eldorado Winehouse on Route 46 East in Mountain Lakes.

There were four $1 million winning tickets as well, with two in Pennsylvania, one in New Jersey in Middlesex County, and one in New York.

Now that the jackpot has been hit, Mega Millions will restart with a $15 million pot. Next drawing is scheduled for Friday, June 5 at 11 p.m.
