67-Year-Old Man Injures Hand in Machinery

A 67-year-old employee of Vibration Mountings, 113 Main Street, Butler, was transported to Chilton Memorial Hospital after said he severely injured his left hand in a piece of machinery on the job.

Police have not released the man's name so that his next of kin can first be notified, but police said the industrial accident occurred at 2:41 p.m. Capt. Ciro Chimento and Officer Michael Fatzer arrived on the scene and discovered that the man had caught his hand in a piece of machinery.

He was transported to the hospital by for treatment.
