No Injuries in Electrical Fire on Park Place

Electric wires connected to air conditioning unit ignite at direct marketing business.

The and responded Monday afternoon to an electrical fire at Trinity Direct on Park Place.

Fire Chief Jim Neill said the fire was extinguished by 4:30 p.m. He said the fire was electrical and began in the electric wires connected to an air conditioning unit. Neill said there were no large flames associated with the fire, but that some posessions were damaged.

A Tri-Boro First Aid Squad representative said no one was injured and an employee of Trinity Direct said that the employees evacuated when they saw smoke and called police.

Trinity Direct is a direct marketing business, the employee said. The unit, No. 5, is located in the industrial complex in Butler.
