Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage In Ringwood Volunteers As Part Of Companywide “Cares Days” Event

RINGWOOD, N.J. – (April 7, 2014) – The Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Ringwood will volunteer to clean up the grounds at the New Jersey State Botanical Garden at Skylands and will collect food donations for the Center for Food Action as part of “Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days,” in which each of the real estate company’s 56 offices in New Jersey and Rockland County, N.Y. will be giving back to local communities through charitable efforts April 24-26. This second annual Cares Days event is organized through the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation, the company’s philanthropic arm.

The New Jersey State Botanical Garden at Skylands, part of the New Jersey Division of Parks and Forestry, features 96 acres of specialty gardens surrounded by woodlands. This historic property offers protection to some of the world’s unusual plant species. Sales associates affiliated with the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office in Ringwood will help to prepare the planting beds at Skylands for tulips on Saturday, April 26.

Volunteers will also collect non-perishable food items for the Center for Food Action during Caring for Ringwood Day on Saturday, May 3. Those who wish to donate may deliver items to the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage office at 130 Skyline Drive during the town-wide event. The Center for Food Action provides food, rental and utility assistance and other services to those in need in northern New Jersey.

During the first annual Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Days event in 2013, approximately 800 Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage sales associates volunteered a combined 5,000 hours to support 62 different organizations and causes. During the three-day event, the Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares Foundation raised $13,000 for charitable causes, as well as collecting 5,000 pounds of food valued at $13,900 and $750 in dog and cat supplies.
