Our February meeting will be a discussion on Common Core education standards. Much has changed since we discussed this last year. Local schools are starting to implement the standards and preview the PARCC tests. Our schools educate the citizenry of the future, so it's very important for us to get it right. Come to educate yourself on what these standards mean for the students & teachers and to discuss how the changes are affecting your students, children or grandchildren.
We meet in the room to the left of the entrance. Please come early and grab a bite to as it helps defray the cost of the room.
