Kinnelon Mail-In Ballots Sent: What Voters Need To Know

KINNELON, NJ — Kinnelon voters who use vote-by-mail should start watching their mailboxes ahead of the Nov. 3 General Election.

The information gives Kinnelon voters key deadlines and options for making sure their mail ballots are returned on time for the Nov. 3 General Election.

The Morris County Clerk said ballots were due to begin mailing no later than Sept. 19. The mailing includes ballots for voters with active vote-by-mail requests for the Nov. 3 General Election.

Voters continuing to receive a mail ballot are “strongly recommended” to mail it at least seven days before Election Day or use a secure drop box, according to the clerk.

The New Jersey Division of Elections says ballots placed in a secure drop box must be returned by 8 p.m. Nov. 3. Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Election Day, and voters can track their ballot online.
