Kinnelon Sober Living Residence Proposal Heads Before Zoning Board

KINNELON, NJ — A proposal involving a sober living residence on Wood Chase Lane is set to go before the Kinnelon Board of Adjustment next week.

Palisades Properties, LLC is scheduled to appear before the board Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Kinnelon Municipal Building, 130 Kinnelon Road, according to the borough.

The applicant leases the single-family residence at 21 Wood Chase Lane and provides living accommodations for people with drug and alcohol dependency, the agenda states.

Palisades Properties is seeking a d(1) use variance to allow a licensed Cooperative Sober Living Residence, or CSLR, to operate at the property.

The agenda says the borough code does not permit that use at the site.
