The most popular breakfast meal among diners is the Fred Mertz, which includes two eggs, hash browns, toast and coffee for $3.99. The lunch menu also has specials such as the Lucy Burger, which is two beef patties, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles and Lucy's homemade sauce served on a bun with a side of fries for $5.99. Other items include sandwiches, salads, soups, burgers and even a "$2.49 Menu" with items served with fries such as grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, hot dog, hamburger and peanut butter and jelly.
During my visit, I had enjoyed a Turkey Sandwich ($4.95) with cheese and my guest had a Ham & Cheese ($4.95). Both sandwiches came with a bag of chips. The meat comes in a nice, thick amount and the sandwich was by all means satisfying.

Owners Angela Merriam and Jean Saraceni, who are sister-in-laws, have been in the business most of their lives. "We've done this forever, we've worked in luncheonettes since our early 20's. It's what we know," said Merriam. They certainly do. Lucy & Ethel's is a great place for families on a budget. They offer personable service with a good meal at affordable prices.
Lottery tickets are also offered at Lucy & Ethel's.
The luncheonette is open seven days a week. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 5 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Sunday from 5 a.m. to 1 p.m.
