Car Ignites After Not Being Started for Months
Police said owner suffered a head injury after attempting to go into burning vehicle.

A vehicle was found fully engulfed in flames Wednesday afternoon on Third Street in Bloomingdale, police said Thursday.
Police said the owner of the vehicle said he had not had the vehicle running in several months and that when he started it up and exited it, it suddenly burst into flames. also said during the fire, the owner, Jeffrey Venema, 53, of Bloomingdale, repeatedly attempted to go into the vehicle, ignoring the warnings of Bloomingdale Police Sgt. Mark Gildersleeve.
Police said Venema suffered a minor head injury and was transported to Chilton Hospital by . He was charged with disorderly conduct and released with a ticket to appear in court at a later date.
