• Deadly weekend fire leaves one woman dead and dozens displaced in Union City (news12.com) — A weekend fire on Bergen Turnpike in Union City killed a 74-year-old woman and displaced 22 residents, who are now receiving help from the Red Cross and the city. Firefighters arrived to heavy flames Saturday afternoon, and officials are still investigating the cause. Residents can make monetary donations for affected neighbors at City Hall.
