• Expert Testifies That Montclair Swim School Wouldn't Offer Enough Parking (montclairlocal.news) — A township parking expert says the proposed SwimQuest swim school at 580 Valley Road would strain the shared parking area serving Upper Montclair Plaza, Bellevue Avenue, and nearby streets, potentially pushing more cars into residential blocks. Planning Board hearings will continue Aug. 3 as officials weigh a major parking variance and neighborhood concerns about drop-offs, theater traffic, and spillover onto Cooper, Northview, and Summit avenues.
