A 1999 Nissan struck a pedal cycle rider at the corner of Pompton and Ozone avenues on May 11, reported Cedar Grove police.
The car – driven by a 18-year-old Cedar Grove male – had stopped at the intersection around 4 p.m., and had begun to make a right turn when it collided with the pedal cyclist, who had been traveling north on Pompton Avenue in the southbound lane against the flow of traffic, said police.
