Cedar Grove HS Presents "Urinetown: The Musical"

The Cedar Grove High School music department will be presenting the award-winning, satirical and comical “URINETOWN: THE MUSICAL” from February 26-28, 2015 at the HS Auditorium. Audiences at “URINETOWN” may see similarities to such other Broadway blockbusters as “Les Miserables,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” and even “West Side Story” throughout the course of this hilarious story of a town that imposes a charge for using public restrooms and the political uproar that ensues.

In advance of the show’s premiere, the CGHS Music Matters organization is inviting the public to attend a “sneak peek” Wine and Cheese preview of the show on Friday, February 20, 2015 from 7-10PM at St. Agnes Episcopal Church, 65 Union Avenue in Little Falls. Guests will be treated to a performance of some songs and scenes from the upcoming show, and afterwards will be able to enjoy a variety of hot and cold hors d’oeuvres and a light pasta dinner. Bring Your Own Beverage (BYOB) is encouraged for those who wish to do so. The cost is $20 per person and those attending this Wine and Cheese preview must be 21 or over. However, guests of all ages are welcome to attend the actual production of the show the following week.
