Cedar Grove Jewelry Store Updates Showroom

Yanina & Co., a fine custom jewelry store, is sporting a new look.

Drop into Cedar Grove's Yanina & Co., a custom jewelry company at 451-455 Pompton Avenue, and take a look at the showroom's fresh makeover while gawking at their beautiful baubles.

Gone are the deep red silk walls and dark brown pillars that have been there for 11 years. In their place is "a cool contemporary look with light grey, white, and charcoal grey accents," according to a press release from the business. Patrons can now sit on white pearl leather chairs and counter stools and admire the showroom's silver and woven wallpapers and crystal accents.

"It's completely different," said Maureen O'Keefe, the company's marketing director, during a short phone interview. "We went through a whole new color scheme."

decided to refurbish the store in order to give "back to her loyal clients and bring in new business," according to the company. She conferred with her mother Claudia Fleysher and brother Alex Fleysher, who are her business partners, on the design.

“The store was beautiful but needed a facelift; I wanted to provide a luxurious atmosphere our clients would feel stylish and sexy in," she said in a statement.

Bergen County interior decorator Patti Smith of P. Smith & Co. was enlisted to redesign the showroom.

"We decided to refresh everything," O'Keefe said.

Besides the renovation, the business also underwent a new branding campaign with new logo, packaging, and ad layouts, O'Keefe said.

“Refreshing your brand is essential to having a successful business...change is important and this change had been well received," said Fleysher in a statement.

"Everybody says it seems almost zen like," O'Keefe said about the space's new look. "The other showroom was beautiful. But this is more cool and modern looking."

Along with the new showroom, the jewelry store celebrated its star turn in the Real Housewives of New Jersey during an episode that aired July 17 on Bravo.

In that show, reality star matriarch Caroline Manzo came to the store to get custom bracelets made, O'Keefe said.

On the store's Facebook page, the bracelet named the "Unbreakable Bond Bracelet" is displayed and will be available to the general public.
