On Saturday, September 26, the Cedar Grove Police Department collected 127 pounds of surrendered pharmaceuticals as part of Operation Take Back New Jersey Medicine Disposal Day.

According to police, around 50 citizens participated in the program. The collected pharmaceuticals were turned over to the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency for safe destruction.
