Oguzcan Erdogdu, 21, of Paterson was arrested after police discovered his driving privileges were suspended.
Erdogdu was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Manuel E. Castro Jr., was driving a 2000 Mitsubishi when he was stopped by police. After further investigation, police charged him with operating an uninsured motor vehicle with a suspended registration and while his driving privileges were expired and under suspension. Castro Jr., was processed at police headquarters and released pending a municipal court appearance.
His car was impounded, police said.

Cedar Grove police arrested a Nutley man on drug-related charges after responding to a South Mountain Avenue residence on a disturbance call.
Nicholas Piacenza Jr., 40, was arrested after a police investigation discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia in the home. Additionally, Piacenza was charged with obstruction of the administration of the law after he refused to be fingerprinted
He was processed at police headquarters and released pending a municipal court appearance.

Cedar Grove police arrested a Union woman on motor-vehicle related charges on Saturday.
Tanya Olibrice, 34, was arrested by Cedar Grove police on charges that she was operating an uninsured motor vehicle with a suspended New Jersey registration while her driving privileges were under suspension, police said.
Olibrice was also wanted on outstanding traffic warrants issued by South Orange and West Orange courts. She was processed on all charges and released pending court appearances in the involved courts.
Her 2006 Honda Civic was impounded.

Two parked cars were damaged Saturday when a tree fell at a home on Pompton Avenue.
The damaged cars, a 2006 Nissan Murano and a 2008 Jeep Cherokee, were damaged when the tree fell in the property’s backyard.
No injuries were reported and a damage estimate was unavailable

A 23-year-old Newark man arrested on motor vehicle and an outstanding warrant on Sunday in Cedar Grove.
Cedar Grove police say Lewis C. Cannon was stopped Sunday morning for speeding. After further investigation, police found he was driving on a suspended license and he was also wanted for an outstanding warrant issued by the Glen Ridge court.
Cannon was processed and turned over to the Glen Ridge Police on their warrant.
