A Vauxhall resident was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Monday, June 20 at 11:35 p.m.
Savannah M. Tutt, 22, was stopped after police allegedly saw Tutt commit a motor vehicle violation. A further computer investigation revealed Tutt’s driving privileges were suspended.
Tutt was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

An East Orange resident was arrested by Cedar Grove police on Wednesday, June 22 at 1:24 a.m. for driving with a suspended license as well as being wanted on an outstanding civil contempt warrant issued by the Essex County Sheriff’s Department.
Nesly Cadet, 36, was stopped after police allegedly saw him commit a motor vehicle violation.
Following his arrest, he was processed by Cedar Grove police and turned over to the Essex County Sheriff’s Department at the Essex County Correctional Facility in Newark.

A 24-year-old Bloomfield resident was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Wednesday, June 22 at 11:56 p.m.
Jose A. Tello was stopped after police allegedly saw Tello commit a motor vehicle violation. A further computer investigation revealed Tello’s driving privileges were suspended.
Tello was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

A 21-year-old West Orange resident was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and use of controlled dangerous substance after a traffic stop on Thursday, June 23 at 1:01 a.m.
Matthew S. Frank was stopped by Cedar Grove police after he allegedly committed a motor vehicle violation. When the officer asked for Frank’s paperwork, he detected the odor of burnt marijuana in the car.
Frank was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.

A 22-year-old West Caldwell resident was arrested for driving while intoxicated on Friday, June 24 at 4:02 a.m.
Katherine K. Wells was stopped by Cedar Grove police after officers alleged saw her vehicle being operated in an erratic manner. When the officer asked for Wells’ paperwork, he allegedly detected the odor of alcohol on the woman’s breath, along with other signs of impairment.
After further investigation, Wells was arrested and processed. She was released pending a municipal court appearance.

Cedar Grove police responded to a car-deer accident on Ridge Road and the Newark Reservoir on Sunday, June 26 at 1:59 a.m.
The car, a 2004 Dodge, was traveling north on Ridge Road when a deer ran into the roadway and was hit. The car sustained damage and the deer was killed in the collision, police said.
Police are urging drivers to use caution when driving near wooded areas, especially between dusk and dawn.

A 34-year-old Maplewood man was arrested on Sunday, June 26 at 1:19 p.m. on charges he was operating an unregistered motor vehicle while his New Jersey driving privileges were suspended as well as for an outstanding traffic warrant issued by an Elizabeth, N.J. court.
Elvis I Ugwu was processed and released pending court appearances in Cedar Grove and Elizabeth.

A 20-year-old Passaic resident was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Monday, June 27 at 2:05 a.m.
Johanel Reyes was stopped after police allegedly saw Reyes commit a motor vehicle violation. A further computer investigation revealed Reyes’s driving privileges were suspended.
Reyes was processed and released pending a municipal court appearance.
