After a week that saw a pair of Lexuses stolen from driveways in Cedar Grove, and a winter that has so far included 15 burglaries, the Cedar Grove Police are taking proactive steps to ensure the public is equipped with the information needed to insure they are not victimized.
A presentation on crime prevention and community awareness will be held in the council chambers of Township Hall, 525 Pompton Ave., beginning at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 9. All residents are invited to attend.

During the presentation, representatives of the police department will offer tips to residents on securing your home from burglars, and will be making a presentation on the new Virtual Neighborhood Watch Initiative.
