Cedar Grove Police Investigating Holly Lane Burglary Last Thursday

The following information has been provided by the Cedar Grove Police Department.


Cedar Grove Police are investigating a burglary last Thursday evening at the Four Seasons condominium complex on Holly Lane.

According to police reports, a local resident called police at approximately 6:45 p.m. to report seeing three or four suspicious looking suspects, possibly wearing ski masks, emerging from the wooded area between Tower Drive and the Four Seasons on Holly Lane.

The suspects then entered a white or cream-colored car that headed towards Stevens Avenue.

When police arrived, they received a second report of an intrusion alarm that had been activated at the condominium complex.  An investigation revealed a unit had been broken into, and police began a search of the area for either the occupants or the car. The search was not successful.

The homeowner told police an undetermined amount of cash had been taken.

Police are currently continuing their investigation.
