Cedar Grove officials closed the district's schools on Monday morning after fallen trees caused power outages.

CEDAR GROVE, NJ — Cedar Grove officials closed the district’s schools on Monday morning after fallen trees caused power outages.
Cedar Grove school administrators issued an alert about a “two-hour delayed opening” due to “downed power lines” via the district Twitter account around 5:45 a.m. on Monday.
Administrators decided to close schools for the day due to a resulting power outage, according to an update two hours later.
