Cedar Grove Singers Perform in High-Profile Concerts

Five choir singers perform at two different concerts last weekend.

This weekend saw a pair of performances from talented Cedar Grove High School students. First, on Saturday, Feb. 11, four Cedar Grove High School students participated in the North Jersey Regional High School Chorus Concert at Secaucus High School, where dozens of North Jersey High Schools were represented. The Cedar Grove vocalists were Dave Candia, Chris Bailey, Alyssa Fanelli and Brielle Raddi.

Then on Sunday, Feb. 12, CGHS Senior Darrah Maffetone sang at Carnegie Hall as part of the The American High School Honors Performance Series Choir, under the direction of Jeffery L. Ames, a distinguished conductor, composer, and educator,and is  currently serving as Director of Choral Activities at Belmont University.
