On February 15, 2015 I rented a rather expensive Canon telephoto lens. After picking up the lens I made my way over to one of my favorite spots for photography…Verona Park. As luck would have it I picked the right weekend! There was a small flock of Eastern Blues mixed in with the usual park residents. Having never seen them up close I was both surprised and impressed. These small birds are quite beautiful up close and I took full advantage of the opportunity. I snapped many shots and I would like to share a couple with you.
