Essex County Woman Claims Four Men Spit in Her Face and Struck Her

Bloomfield police are seeking four male suspects who allegedly spit in the face of an East Orange woman and struck her with their hands on Tuesday, March 10.

According to police, the 47-year-old woman stated that as she was leaving a driveway on Broad Street, four males approached her and “punched her car.”

The woman told police that when she got out of her car to confront them, the men spit in her face, struck her with their hands and left the scene.

Police said that the victim refused medical attention.

Police told Patch that they are actively seeking four men in connection with the alleged incident. According to police, the woman described one suspect as a thin, Hispanic male with a mixture of a “curly afro and Brook-style haircut,” and wearing a gray jacket and back pack.

Another suspect was wearing a green hat, stated police.
