Tuesday, October 11 at 9:30am: “Writing About What You Love: Turning your love of hobbies, sports and other passions into prose” A writing seminar conducted by writer and blogger extraordinaire, Lisa Romeo from Cedar Grove. Whatever you love can be inspiration, main topic, or an integral part of what you write. Lisa will share her own experiences writing and publishing articles, essays, stories and poems that showcase her interest in horses and riding, food, raising sons, and other passions, and offer tips and advice for writing, research and editing.
Tuesday, October 18 at 10:30am: “Understanding Complimentary Alternative Medicine and the Art of Aromatherapy” RN and certified holistic nurse, Gail DellaFave will enlighten us on the benefits of alternative holistic medicine, how to find a practitioner and which therapies address common ailments and needs. We will also take a basic look into Aromatherapy--its essential oils, history, uses, applications and safety. Three oils will be discussed thoroughly and samples given out to all who attend.

Thursday, October 27 at 9:30am: “Cleaning Without Toxins” Glen Ridge moms, certified eco-consultants and Green Heroic founders Irmine Hero and Christine Heinicke will show you how easy it is to eliminate the chemicals and packaging in common cleaning products. You will learn recipes to tackle all of your cleaning chores—laundry detergent and cleaning spray. With a simple shopping list and tools you probably already own you can improve your home’s carbon footprint, your air quality and save money.
