Ex-Cedar Grove Mayor: 'It's Only A Matter Of Time Before Trump Is Nominee': Report
NJ Senator Kevin J. O'Toole stated that the Republican caucus is 'ready and willing' to support Trump, a report says.

Former Cedar Grove Mayor and NJ State Senator Kevin J. O’Toole (R-40) said it is only a matter of time before Donald Trump becomes the Republican nominee for president.

“It’s only a matter of time before he becomes the nominee,” O’Toole told Politickernj.com. “When you see that he blew up the caucuses in Nevada, and there was 100 percent increase in the numbers coming out, that’s a real credit to his message whether you like him or not.”
O’Toole thinks that despite resistance from Republicans in New Jersey and across the United States, the caucus will come to realize that if Trump wins 10 or 11 of the primaries on Super Tuesday, that most Americans will want to “work with him.”

O’Toole announced earlier this year that he would not run for re-election when his current term ends in January 2018.

O’Toole represents the state’s 40th Legislative District, which includes Franklin Lakes, Ridgewood, Wayne, and Wyckoff.
