Local Students Earn Dean's List

Verona and Cedar Grove College students were recognized for their Dean's List achievements.

The following local college students really made the grade in the Fall 2012 college semester and have been recognized by their colleges for their efforts:

Gabrielle San Roman of Cedar Grove

Gabrielle San Roman of Cedar Grove, a Music Education major, has been named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester at Westminster Choir College of Rider University.

“Located in Princeton, NJ, Westminster Choir College prepares musicians for careers as performers and as music leaders in schools, universities, churches and professional and community organizations,” school officials said.

Lindsay Bongo of Verona

Lindsay Bongo of Verona was named to the Dean's List at the Savannah College of Art and Design for fall quarter 2012.

Corey Danieli of Verona

Corey Danieli of Verona also was named to the Dean's List at the Savannah College of Art and Design for fall quarter 2012.

According to the college, full-time undergraduate students who earn a grade point average of 3.5 or above for the quarter receive recognition on the Dean's List.

Joseph Marchiafava of Cedar Grove

Joseph Marchiafava of Cedar Grove was named to the Dean's list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Fall 2012 semester.

Candice Poon of Cedar Grove

Candice Poon of Cedar Grove was also named to the Dean's list at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute for the Fall 2012 semester.

According to the Institute, the dean's list recognizes full-time students who maintain grade-point averages of a minimum of 3.0 out of a possible 4.0 and have no grades below "C."

Jesse T Lederman of Verona

Jesse T Lederman of Verona, NJ, received academic honors from the School of Management at Binghamton University by making the University's Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester.
