Police Asking for Help in Catching Burglary Suspects
Anyone witnessing suspicious activity in the Lynwood Road or North Mountain Avenue areas in Cedar Grove on Saturday afternoon is asked to call detective bureau.

Cedar Grove Police are asking eagle-eyed residents for any information that could lead them to arrest suspects in two burglaries in the township last week.
Police responded to a burglary call on Lynwood Avenue at 4:46 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 12. At the scene, they found the home had been broken into sometime that afternoon. Police say the bedroom was ransacked, and a diamond ring, some cash and numerous pieces of costume jewelry were taken.
During a subsequent investigation in the neighborhood, a resident reported observing a white mid-size vehicle, either a Chevrolet or a Buick, stop in front of the victim's home around 2 p.m. The witness reported seeing a thin olive-skinned man in his early thirties carrying a brown shopping bag and entering the vehicle through the passenger side door before it left the scene.
