Police Find Missing Man at Mills Reservation in Cedar Grove
Officials: Man threatened suicide, but found safely and is receiving medical attention.

Essex County Sheriff's Department officials confirmed today that a missing man has been found and is safe after police say he went missing in the area of Mills Reservation County Park.
Around 2:30 this afternoon, half a dozen officers from the Montclair Police Department and the Sheriff's Department were at the 157-acre county park, which borders Montclair and Cedar Grove, though the park remained open to the public.
The police were initially going to ask for the public's help in locating the man, who was described as in his early 60s with short hair and a mustache, but called off the search a few minutes later when he was found, a Sheriff's Department officer said.
An unidentified Montclair Police officer at the scene initially told Patch to tell the public "If they see him, do not approach him, and call the police."
The officer would not provide any information about the man's identity.
Sheriff's Department Public Information Officer Kevin Lynch had few details, and would only confirm that the man "somewhere along the line threatened suicide," and that he was "safe and receiving medical attention."
Lynch said he did not know where police located the man.
