Pompton Ave. Apartment Burglary Under Investigation
Jewelry reported stolen after unit's rear door forced open, according to report.
The Cedar Grove Police Detective Bureau is investigating a burglary of a Pompton Avenue apartment.
Police said a resident reported the unit's rear door was forced open and several items of jewelry and a watch were stolen sometime between 9 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. on June 3.
Authorities did not report the value of the stolen items.

The detective bureau processed the scene for physical evidence and the investigation is ongoing, police said.
