Police Nab Burglary Suspects
Two men arrested in connection with attempted burglary in Cedar Grove, burglary in Little Falls

The Cedar Grove Police Department today announced the arrest of two men wanted in connection with an attempted burglary of a West Lindsley Road home.
The arrests followed a joint investigation lead by Cedar Grove Det. Michael Tower in coordination with the Little Falls Police Department, who charged the suspects with a different burglary in the Township of Little Falls, police said.
Police discovered the attempted break-in at the West Lindsley Road home shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1 after an intrusion alarm was sounded during an attempted forced entry. Police were able to use surveillance equipment installed at the residence to identify the suspects, Jesse C. Piccirillo, 31, of Morris Plains, and Ian Watson, 25, of West Milford, and obtain arrest warrants for the pair.

Watson was arrested in Little Falls on Nov. 11, the same day the warrant for his arrest was issued. Piccirillo was arrested two days later by the Morris Plains Police. Both suspects were processed and released to the custody of the Little Falls Police pending arraignment at Essex County Superior Court in Newark.
Little Falls Police officials could not be immediately reached for comment.
