Police: Two Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Baby Formula

Surveillance shows pair allegedly stole $300 of formula from Cedar Grove Super Foodtown.

Two North Arlington residents were arrested Monday, April 22, following an investigation into an alleged shoplifting incident earlier this month.

Nicole Schilare-Aristiza, 31, and Nicholas Demaria, 25, were arrested after police reviewed surveillance tape of an April 15 incident at Super Foodtown, located at 597 Pompton Ave. in Cedar Grove

After reviewing the video, police determined the pair allegedly took $334.38 worth of baby formula from the store.

Schilare-Aristiza was processed on her charge at police headquarters and released pending a Superior Court arraignment Thursday in Newark.

Demaria was charged while at the Bergen County Jail where he is being held on unrelated charges, officials said.
