Louis Cinque has owned the Fairfield-based business for the past five years. America's Best Limousines serves many surrounding towns for proms each year, including Roseland, the Caldwells, and Cedar Grove.

“We’ve had between 100-150 rentals this season for proms,” said Cinque, speaking of all the high school proms in the region collectively.

Of the popular types of limos, many students choose to rent SUVs, which hold between 12 and 16 people. The Excursion and Navigator limos are the most rented among prom-goers, because of their cool style and larger holding capacities.

“Party buses are also very popular,” said Cinque. Party buses are best for groups going to prom in large parties, as they hold 20, 24, or 30 people, depending on the size of the bus and the prom package purchased.

Although special occasions take place at all times of the year, the end of spring is the busiest time for America’s Best Limousines because of the added demand for prom services. 

“May and June are our two busiest months,” said Cinque. “May, June, September, and October are all busy months for weddings, and also having proms in May and June make those months by far the busiest.”
