Officer Timothy Banta arrested Gregory Hemmerle of Verona and charged him with distributing marijuana and Oxycodone within the Township of Verona. After processing, he was transported to the Essex County Jail on $50,000 bail.

Verona police took a report of property damage to a vehicle from a Cedar Grove resident. The resident reported his vehicle door was damaged when the wind blew another car door out of someone’s hand and into his door.

Sergeant Stephen DePoe responded to a Pompton Avenue business and took a report of a dispute.

Officer Page Parsels responded to a Bloomfield Avenue apartment and took a report of a noise complaint.

Officer David Wardrope took a report of water damage from a Maple Terrace resident.

Officer James Barry stopped a car on Orchard Street and impounded the car for being unregistered and uninsured as well as for being operated by a suspended driver.

Officer John Lecreux and DePoe responded to a Bloomfield Avenue
business on a report of a dispute.

Officer Ballantyne responded to Highland Terrace for a report of a tree that fell on a house. Reports were taken for two residents who suffered damage to their homes.

Officer Anthony Condorelli responded to a Franklin Street residence to take a report of a theft.

Officer Parsels took a report of a dispute that occurred on a NJ transit Bus.

3/8/2011 Officer Paul Watkins responded to a Bloomfield Avenue residence and took a report of criminal mischief.

03/09/2011 Officer Michael Barone responded to a Pompton Avenue business and took a report of an attempted fraud.

03/10/2011 Officer David Wardrope responded to an Oakridge Road residence on a report of a tree down across the road. As a result of the tree falling, damage was observed to a utility pole, electrical wires and cable and phone wires to a home on Beechwood Road. Public Service and the Verona DPW were notified and responded.
