6:26 p.m. Officer Anthony Condorelli responded to a Birch Lane residence and took a report of a prior burglary. The residents reported someone removed a box with personal items and identifiers from their home. There was no sign of forced entry, however a ladder located in the yard had been moved. Several items were reported found by the Fairfield Police Department on a local road and returned to the residents.

6:37 p.m. Officer Page Parsels took a report of malicious mischief from a Hillside Avenue resident. The resident reported her vehicle window was broken by an unknown object while it was parked on the street.
8:04 p.m. Officer Michael Barone responded to a Derwent Avenue residence and took a report of a theft. The resident reported a police member shield was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked on the street. The vehicle window and door were damaged by the unknown actor.

10:04 a.m. Officer Anthony O’Connor took a report of a larceny from a Grove Avenue temple. A park bench was reported stolen.

3:33 p.m. Officer Timothy Banta took a report of a theft from a vehicle. A Cedar Grove resident reported a police member shield was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at Pilgrim Plaza.

10:52 p.m. Officer Anthony O’Connor responded to a Bloomfield Avenue business on
a report of an assault. An employee reported he was assaulted by a customer after a
dispute over a gasoline purchase.
3:03 p.m. Officer David Wardrope took a report of a larceny from a Claridge Drive
resident. The resident reported the theft of numerous pieces of jewelry from her home.

7:16 a.m. Officer Anthony O’Connor responded to a Westland Road residence and took a report of property damage. The resident reported damage to two vehicles after a large tree branch fell onto them.
4:01 p.m. Officer Timothy Banta arrested Nathanael Hillman of Montclair on an
outstanding out of township warrant after a motor vehicle stop on Bloomfield Avenue. Mr. Hillman was a passenger in a vehicle whose driver was observed texting by Officer Banta and subsequently stopped. After paying for the summons, he was released.

1:19 a.m. Officer Robert Shafer took a report of verbal harassment from a Verona
resident.
12:42 p.m. Officer John Lecreux took a report of a larceny from a Halsted Street resident.
7:50 p.m. Dispatcher Walter Graulich took a report of found property from a Verona
resident. The resident reported finding a set of keys and numerous store swipe cards and turned them in. The owner was located and the property returned.
