04/29/2011

7:46 AM Officer Joseph Ballantyne took a report of an unauthorized entry into a vehicle on Oakridge Road. The vehicle was entered sometime overnight. Nothing appeared to be missing.

2:16 PM A Verona resident found a debit card while on Bloomfield Avenue and turned it in to Officer Joseph Ballantyne. The owner was located and the property returned.

04/30/2011

11:23 AM Officer James Barry took a report of a burglary from a Brentwood Drive
resident. The resident reported during the night someone removed money from several wallets that we located near a front door. Entry was believed to be gained through an unlocked door.

5:19 PM Officer Michael Barone responded and took a report of two unsecured dogs near a Brookside Terrace residence.

9:27 AM Officer John Lecreux responded to a Hillside Avenue residence and took a
report of property damage. The resident reported several stakes were moved and an
election sign was damaged and taken out of his lawn.

12:55 PM Officer Anthony O’Connor took a report of property damage from a Verona resident.

2:45 PM Officer John Lecreux arrested Megan Purcell of Verona on an outstanding out of township warrant. After processing and posting bail she was released.

5:12 PM Officer Timothy Banta arrested Richard Aladesanmi of Newark on an
outstanding out of township warrant. Mr. Aladesanmi was stopped on Woodland Avenue while soliciting without a permit. After processing he was released.

10:22 PM Lt. Chris Kiernan took a report of harassment from a Verona resident.

1:53 PM Officer Joseph Ballantyne took a report of a larceny from a Claridge Drive
resident.

1:27 PM Officer Joseph Ballantyne responded to a Bloomfield Avenue residence and
took a report of a larceny. The homeowner reported the theft of a washer, dryer and mini refrigerator which had been stored in his back yard.

6:02 PM Officer David Wardrope took a report of harassment from a Linn Drive resident.

5:52 PM Officer Joel Martin took a report of property damage from a West Lincoln
Street resident.
