10:05 AM Officer Joel Martin took a report of fraud from a Bloomfield Avenue resident.  The resident reported lending money to a neighbor and not being reimbursed.

11:05 AM Officer Joel Martin took a report of a dispute between former room mates from a Hamilton Road resident.  He was advised of complaint procedures.

2:08 PM Dispatcher T.J. Conroy took a report of a found cell phone.  The owner was located and the property returned.

9:13 PM Officer Timothy Banta responded to the Forest Avenue School field on a report of juveniles gathering on the field.  Found were several juveniles in possession of alcohol.  The youths were transported to headquarters and turned over to their parent or guardian.

1:16 PM Officer Joseph Ballantyne took a report of malicious mischief from a Claremont Avenue resident.  The resident reported someone let the air out of his vehicle tire.

1:39 PM Lt. Bruce Smith responded to an East Lincoln Street residence and took a report of an attempted fraud.

7:13 AM Officer Joel Martin impounded a motor vehicle after the driver was stopped for a violation.  The vehicle owner was found to have expired insurance.  Two summonses were issued.

10:56 AM Dispatcher T.J. Conroy turned in a large clamp which had been found in the roadway on Bloomfield Avenue.

3:32 PM Officer Anthony Condorelli took a report of a larceny at a Sunset Avenue residence.  A Verona resident reported a satchel left on a porch overnight was stolen.  Numerous identifiers, credit cards and jewelry were taken.

9:36 PM Officer Anthony Condorelli responded to Pilgrim Plaza and took a report of a theft from a vehicle.  A Montclair resident reported while he was at a fitness center his keys were removed from a locker and his vehicle was entered.  Missing are a cell phone and a wallet containing numerous identifiers as well as several hundred dollars in cash.

12:22 PM Sgt. Stephen DePoe took a report of a larceny from a Linden Avenue resident.  The resident reported sometime over the past month a piece of jewelry was stolen from her home.

4:21 PM Officer Anthony Condorelli took a report of an attempted entry into a construction vehicle at a Grove Avenue business.

6:14 PM Officer Page Parsels took a report from a Belleville resident regarding an incident over services rendered at a Bloomfield Avenue business.

7:52 PM Officer Page Parsels took a report of fraud from a North Caldwell resident.  The resident reported the fraudulent use of his credit card after he realized it had been lost or stolen while he was at a local business in Verona. Several unauthorized transactions were made on the card.

5:36 PM Dispatcher Walter Graulich reported a Montville resident turned in a wallet found in Verona Park.  The owner was located and the property returned.

5:53 PM Officer Page Parsels responded to a local business and took a report of stolen property.  A license plate and a piece of equipment from a business owned vehicle was taken.
