The following reports were prepared by the Verona Police Department and do not necessarily indicate a conviction.

12/22/2011

10:16 AM Officer Joel Martin arrested Jordan Hillman of Montclair on an outstanding Warrant from the Roseland Municipal Court.  Subject was processed and released with a January court date.

3:05 PM Officer Page Parsels took a report of a theft from a Bloomfield Avenue business.

3:52 PM While officers were responding to a burglar alarm at a Mountain Road residence Officer Tim Banta observed a suspicious male walking on Mountain Road.  The subject was stopped while additional officers responded to check the house with the alarm.  Officers located a broken window in the rear of the home.  After further investigation the subject Andrew Goldberg was arrested and charged with 3 counts of burglary, 2 counts of receiving stolen property, 2 counts of possession of burglary tools and one count of drug paraphernalia. Subject was transferred to the Essex County Correctional facility and is being held on $150,000.

8:50 AM Officer Anthony O’Connor took a report of burglaries to three motor vehicles on Durrell Street.

9:43 AM Officer O’Connor took a report of criminal mischief on Green Acres Drive.

10:37 AM Officer Martin took a report of property damage at a Kenwood Road residence.

12:27 PM Officer Martin took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle on Ann Street.

3:30 PM Officer Parsels took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle on Forest Avenue.

4:18 PM Officer Parsels took a report of a stolen motor vehicle and a burglary to a motor vehicle from a Cypress Avenue residence.

4:26 PM Officer Barone took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle on Cypress Avenue.

7:52 PM Officer Barone took a report of criminal mischief at a Bloomfield Avenue business.

9:09 PM Officer Barone took a report of criminal mischief at a Bloomfield Avenue business.

1:56 PM Officer Martin took a report of a fraud from a Grove Avenue business.

2:08 PM Officer Frazee took several criminal mischief reports from Park Avenue residents.

2:41 PM Officer Barone took a report of lost property from a Linden Avenue resident.

7:31 PM Officer Parsels took a report of fraud from a Durrell St resident.

8:40 PM Officer Dave Wardrope took a report of a burglary at a Crestmont Place residence.

11:40 PM Officers Wardrope and Condorelli responded to East Orange Police Department and took Jimmy Stevenson into custody on a Verona Warrant.  After processing subject was transferred to the Essex County Correction Facility.
