Police Blotter: Stolen Wallet Returned, Less $400
The following information has been provided by the Cedar Grove Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

March 5: A Verona resident who reported her wallet was stolen told police the wallet was found in the Kings parking lot on Pompton Avenue and returned to her.
The resident said the wallet was missing $400, but everything else seemed untouched.
March 6: Damian J. Purvis, 21, of West Orange, was arrested for driving with a suspended license after being pulled over for speeding at 11:32 a.m. He was released pending a municipal court appearance.
March 6: Abdel Ileiwat, 38, of Bellville was arrested for driving with a suspend license at 9:30 p.m. He was released pending a municipal court appearance.
March 8: Police responded to a noise complaint near Little Falls Road and the Peckman River Plaza at 11:04 p.m. and issued a summons to four residents for a loud house party.

The four residents, Brian M. Rock, 22, Jonathan Han, 22, Laureat D. Petrone, 21 and William J. Fisher, 21, were issued a summons to appear in municipal court on March 28.
March 10: Terry D. Dance, 28, of Paterson was arrested after trying to drive away from police after a traffic stop at 2:17 a.m.
Originally, Dance was pulled over by police at the intersection of Pompton Avenue and Cedar Street, but, according to police, he suddenly pulled away and headed into Verona. When he crossed Bloomfield Avenue, Dance’s car got two flat tires and he pulled over and surrendered.

Dance was charged with driving with a suspended license and had four outstanding warrants in other towns. In addition, he was charged with possession of a wooden baton.
He was turned over to Lodi Police on the warrants. His 1994 Mercury Topaz was impounded.
March 10: Sasha A. Young, 21, of Montclair was arrested for driving an uninsured and unregistered vehicle while her license was suspended.
Young was turned over to Montclair Police for outstanding traffic warrants and her 1994 Dodge was impounded.
