VMAC Presents 'Keeping Our Children Safe'
Free program for parents on Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Law.

Next Wednesday, Feb. 8, at 7 p.m. at H.B. Whitehorne Middle School in Verona, several local groups are sponsoring a program for parents on the new Harassment, Intimidation and Bullying Law, or H.I.B.
Speaking at the presentation will be Dana Lustig, the district's anti-bullying coordinator, who will go over the details of the state law as well as the district's policy and procedures in enforcing it.
Also speaking will be representatives of the Verona Police Department, who will speak on the agreement between the department and schools, as well as provide information on the "24/7 Bullying Law".

Lastly, Internet safety expert, Jill Brown, who will share "real" strategies for parents of "Generation Text" students, including conflict resolution and empowering your children.
