2 Charged In 4 Home Burglaries In Wall: Police

The two men were charged in burglaries in the Sea Girt Estates section, police said.

WALL, NJ — Two people, including a Brick Township man, were arrested in burglary charges in connection with four home break-ins, Wall Township police said.

William T. Dolan 3rd, 44, of Neptune, and Davon Cody, 27, of Brick, were arrested Oct. 4, Wall Detective Lt. Greg Carpino said.

Police were called to the area of West Chicago Boulevard and Gregory Place about 11:40 a.m. for a report of a suspicious person, and learned four home burglaries had happened in the Sea Girt Estates section, Carpino said.

After an investigation, Detective Michael Steitz arrested Dolan and Cody, Carpino said.

Dolan was charged with four counts of burglary, two counts of receiving stolen property, three counts of criminal mischief and an active $25,000 warrant for failure to pay child support out of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department, Carpino said.

Cody was charged with four counts of conspiracy to commit burglary and two counts of receiving stolen property, he said.

After arrest processing, they were issued complaint warrants and transported to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility, he said.
