6 Teens Charged With Xanax, Weed Possession In Ocean Twp.: Police
Four 18-year-olds, a 19-year-old and a 17-year-old are facing drug charges, police said.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ — Six Monmouth County teenagers are facing drug charges after authorities found multiple bars of Xanax in their vehicle at an apartment complex in Ocean Township on Tuesday, police said.
Ocean Detective Sgt. Patrick Martin said Detectives Michael Melody and Jesse Orbach stopped a vehicle at the Twinbrook Apartment complex Tuesday at 5:18 p.m.
Inside were six teenagers, four males from Ocean Township and two females from Middletown. The teens were identified as Jordan Jernigan, 18; Antonio Badillo, 18; Jasher Pena, 18 ; and Fhelipe Magalhaes, 19, all from Ocean Township, and Emily Valente, 18, and a 17-year-old girl, both of whom were from Middletown, Martin said. The 17-year-old was not identified because she is a juvenile.

The investigation revealed that all six each had "multiple Xanax bars," as well as under 50 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Martin said. They all were arrested and processed, with the adults released on criminal summonses pending a future court appearance and the juvenile was released to one of her parents, he said.
In addition to Melody and Orbach, Detective Greg Martone and Martin assisted in the investigation.
