Aldi Hiring For Its Stores In Monmouth, Ocean

If you're looking for work, the grocery store chain is holding a centralized hiring event for seven area stores.

TINTON FALLS, NJ — If you're looking for work, Aldi is holding a hiring event to fill jobs at seven stores in Monmouth and Ocean counties.

The event is set for Thursday, April 12, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Doubletree Hotel, 700 Hope Road in Tinton Falls.

Aldi will be filling jobs at its stores in Brick, Hazlet, Howell, Manahawkin, Neptune, Toms River and West Long Branch, including management and store associates.

The positions available during this hiring event: Manager Trainee, Shift Manager, Store Associate

Salary/Wages:

  • Manager Trainee: $55,000 - $65,000 per year ($25.00 per hour averaging 40-45 hours per week), with an opportunity to earn $73,000 - $95,000 per year as a Store Manager
  • Shift Manager: $12.35 per hour (plus an additional $4.25 per hour premium when performing manager duties)
  • Store Associate: $12.35 per hour

Job Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older to apply
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Drug screening and background check
  • Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday – Sunday
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Management experience preferred for Manager Trainees
  • Ability to lift 45 pounds

Employees averaging more than 25 hours per week are eligible for full health insurance benefits and dental coverage and all employees are invited to participate in Aldi's 401(k) program.
