Allaire Community Farm Adventure & Riding Program

Designed for children ages 5 - 12 years of age

Taught by an instructor with over 30 years of Equestrian Experience

9 am to 12 noon Cost: $50 per day

Participants will participate in the following outdoor activities: • Riding Lessons - given by certified riding instructor and therapeutic instructor • Barn Experience -Stalls, feeding, care of equines • Veterinary talk, Equine First Aid • Educational Classes, (agriculture, farming, plant study) • Conformation, Color, Breeds, Grooming, Safety • Parts of the Horse, Grooming, Tacking, Leading • Animal Care: feed and groom animals In our petting zoo • Native exploration hike • Gathering eggs in our hen houses • Therapy dog-READ program (Reading and ART with the Dog, *Selkie*) • Art Projects with Equine Theme • Horse Show • Journaling • Cooperative Learning Activities *

There is no minimum or maximum on days your child can attend. You do not have to sign up for the entire week. Can can do as little as one day or the entire summer
