Authorities ID Victim Of Fatal 3-Vehicle Crash In Wall

WALL, NJ — Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal three-vehicle crash that happened in Wall Township on Thursday.

Eileen Ziesmer, 58, of Brick, NJ, has been identified as the woman killed when multiple vehicles collided at the intersection of State Highway 70 and Morningstar Road around 5:20 p.m. on Thursday.

Following the crash, police said Ziesmer was found in an unresponsive state at the scene.

Life-saving measures, including CPR, were initiated by responding officers before Ziesmer was brought to a medical facility, where she was pronounced deceased at 6:28 p.m.

According to authorities, the other two drivers involved in the crash were also brought to local medical facilities for treatment.

As of Monday evening, no charges have been filed in connection with the crash, a spokesman for the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office said.

In an online post, the Church of St. Denis in Manasquan, NJ, remembered Ziesmer, describing her as a "dedicated and cherished part of our parish family" and someone who served the church for several years.

"Her kindness, grace, unwavering devotion, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her," the church said. "Please join us in praying for the repose of her soul and for the comfort of her family and friends during this difficult time."
