Belmar Man Who Has Hepatitis C Charged With Sexually Assaulting Two Women

Wall police arrested James Frank, 23, recently. His bail was set at $550,000 cash.

A 23-year-old Belmar man is in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $550,000 cash bail after Wall police charged him with sexually assaulting two women during the same week, knowing that he has hepatitis C, according to the Coast Star.

James Frank, 12th Avenue, Belmar, was arrested by the Wall Township Police Detective Bureau recently. He was charged with one count of first degree aggravated sexual assault with a weapon, one count of second degree sexual assault using force or coercion without bodily injury, one count of third degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, one count of fourth degree unlawful possession of a weapon and two counts of a diseased person committing an act of sexual penetration, Detective Lieutenant Peter Lokerson said.

Both assaults took place in a landscape trailer parked behind a business on Route 71.
