(Wall, NJ)–In observance of National Assisted Living Week®, September 8 to 14, Brandywine Senior Living at Wall will host a series of events with their theme “Music is Magic; Music--That Makes Us Happy” developed as a special opportunity to bring together residents, families, employees, volunteers and the surrounding community to celebrate “Homemade Happiness."
“Homemade Happiness” was chosen because it is about celebrating those times, both present and past, that brought us happiness yesterday, fulfills us today, and will inspire the memories of tomorrow.
“Homemade Happiness” celebrates the child in all of us. Whether it is a resident’s first try at hopscotch, the high school dance or their first trip to the Jersey Shore, life is about finding happiness as we move on our journey through life. Keith Harper, Executive Director at Wall says, “This weeklong celebration is a demonstration of the commitment assisted living professionals feel when providing care and services to residents in their communities. There’s really nothing like it."

Grandparents Day Mardi Gras Party – Sunday, September 8th at 2:00 PM - Enjoy the Mardi Gras Party with music and Ragtimers. Did we mention that we’ve got Cajun style food? Oh yes. Wear your bright purple, gold and green and come have some fun!
Soda Shop Days – Tuesday September 10th at 2:00 PM - Do you remember the days when you sipped your cherry coke and looked into your sweetheart’s eyes? How about egg creams? Ice cream sodas, and sundaes? Yep…we got that!!
Looks Like Sinatra…Sounds Like Sinatra – Wednesday, September 11th at 6:00 PM - Who can forget old blue eyes…chairman of the board. You know who I’m talking about. It’s Frank Sinatra (a.k.a. Bobby Ballack). Open mic, prizes, laughs for all.
Oreo Stacking Contest – Friday, September 13th at 2:00 PM - What fun!! An Oreo stacking contest. Money to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association. The fun comes when we get to eat them!!
