Construction Closes Lanes On Parkway, Route 35

Motorists could face traffic tie-ups today because of construction on the Garden State Parkway, Route 35 and Route 9, according to 511.org.

Construction could impact traffic Route 9 northbound from Beachwood Boulevard in Beachwood to the Garden State Parkway in South Toms River. 

The right lane on the Garden State Parkway southbound, from Exit 88, or the Route 70 east interchange, to just north of Toms River Toll Plaza in Toms River, will be closed until 3 p.m.

Construction on Route 35 northbound, near Sixth Avenue in Ortley Beach,  will force a left-lane closure until 5 p.m.
